Agent Trade Rates

When enabled, agent commission is a selectable discount, not a rate. This replaces the need for commission, as trade discount is taken from the standard price. The amount the Agent pays will be shown instead of the retail rate and emails sent to the agent only.

Go To System>Setup>Settings>General Tab

Go To System>Setup>Discount Setup

Create New Discount

Note the Agent switch has been enabled. Services & Products in the ‘Available In’ panel can be checked where discount will apply. Make sure to select applicable Tariff/s also.

Select which ‘Entities’ the discount for Agents will apply to, i.e. Adults, Concession etc.

Go To Staff And Agents>Staff And Agents Setup

Create new or select existing Agent.

Assign New Discount

We can now assign a discount that Agent will receive for services and packages applied in discount setup. Note this drop menu appears now instead of a field for commission that is entered for Agent (due to enabling ‘Agent trade rates’ switch in first step – cannot co-exist with agent commission setup – must be one or the other).

Example Agent Trade Bookings

Trade Bathing

As seen in discount setup earlier, Sanctuary bathing has been selected as product the discount will apply to. Note the rate applicable above, $64 (this is Agent Bathing calendar), is less than the standard price for product below of $70.

Trade Package Example

In Package Setup, Agent must be switched on for a package to be bookable as a ‘Trade Rate’ package, i.e. that trade discount will apply to.

Utilising the Find Your Experience Agent menu above, we can only see packages that have ‘Agent’ enabled in this menu for Agents to book at discounted price below.
